MCA Technologies

We are pleased to inform you about a supply and marketing agreement with MCA Technologies, Biel-Benken/Switzerland for DPP-pigments and additives for plastics, coatings and inks.

MCA Technologies is headed by Dr. B.L. Kaul, former head R&D, pigment division of Clariant International.
MCA (www.mcatechnologies.ch) is specialised in the field of captive and contract R&D and manufacturing (e.g. DPP-pigments) and in the strategic development and sourcing of additives as optical brighteners, UV-absorbers, Light Stabilizers (HALS) and Specialty Flame Retardants.

Spektokem B.V. was established in January 2009. The company is owned and managed by Mr. Heiner Krüll, who has been involved with all pigment industries for many years. After his study in chemical production technologies he started his professional career at Hoechst AG in Frankfurt/M (now Clariant) at several technical divisions for organic pigments and preparations.

In the eighties he switched over to technical sales and marketing for Kemisk Vaerk Koege/DK and 1990 was asked to grow up the European pigment business for Sun Chemical Corp. USA as General Manager Benelux. During the last four years Spectrokem B.V. was involved in technical consulting and marketing in Europe and South Asian countries for Cathay Pigments China. Heiner is German and is living in the Netherlands since 20 years.

Spectrokem B.V. is also the exclusive agent in Benelux, Germany, Austria and Switzerland for BCO Ecotint and CEAC Colours Systems and for HERO Tinting Machines and Mixers.

Arat Chem. Arya Ltd. was established in March 2007 in Tehran, Iran by a team of corporate experts and business leaders. The company is headed by Mr. Bijan Mehrzad, CEO who has been involved with pigments related industries for many years. Crane Chem Oy deals with chemicals for different industries and was established on 30 December 2008 by Hannu Kurki. He has a over 30 years experience in the chemical industry.

1981-1986 he worked for Akzo in the printing ink and masterbatch segments.

After he joined Sandoz/Clariant were he became a marketing specialist. He occupied various positions as sales manager, business unit and international key account manager.

Crane Chem Oy represents IQChem for organic pigments in the Nordic countries (Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway) and is also responsible for selected customers in Baltic States.

In addition, Crane Chem Oy represents CEAC/BCO Technology for Ecotint pastes for the coating industry and is also involved in the sales of plastic additives.
